Responsibilities :
- 1. Strategic Leadership:
- Oversee the overall market and liquidity risk management strategy for the Bank.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive risk framework aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Foster a culture of risk awareness and accountability within the Bank.
- 2. ALCO Committee Support:
- Provide expert advice and guidance to the ALCO committee on market and liquidity risk matters.
- Ensure that the committee’s decisions are aligned with the Bank’s risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
- 3. Data Analysis and Risk Management:
- Develop and implement advanced data analysis techniques to identify, monitor, and mitigate market and liquidity risks.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, economic indicators, and stress scenarios to assess the Bank’s risk exposure.
- 4. Liquidity Risk Management:
- Identify and manage liquidity concentration risks to ensure the Bank’s ability to meet its funding needs.
- Develop and implement effective liquidity risk management policies and procedures.
- 5. Stress Testing and Financial Resilience:
- Conduct regular stress tests to assess the Bank’s financial resilience under various market volatility scenarios.
- Develop and implement contingency plans to mitigate the impact of adverse events.
- 6. Risk Framework and Policy Maintenance:
- Oversee the development and implementation of the market and liquidity risk framework.
- Ensure that risk policies and procedures are up-to-date and aligned with regulatory requirements.
- 7. Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare comprehensive reports on market and liquidity risk for management and regulatory authorities.
- Analyze risk metrics and identify trends to inform strategic decision-making.
- 8. Professional Development:
- Stay informed of current trends, regulatory developments, and best practices in market and liquidity risk management.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 1 years of experience in market and liquidity risk management or in Finance Department.
- Proven experience in ALCO support, data analysis relevant to market and liquidity risk, and stress testing.
- Strong understanding of market and liquidity risk frameworks and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
